The TS Coccoon Universe: the Andersen Family and Our Mission

The Andersen Family, Our Imaginary Family

Anna and her sage cardigan, Thomas and his round glasses, Gaston (3 years old, mustard overalls, unlimited energy), Blanche (6 years old, braids and big questions), Ulysse the golden retriever and Filou the cat… don't live in any real house. They are illustrated characters, and we fully own it. The Andersens embody the spirit of TS Coccoon: a family that slows down, plays with wood rather than screens, tidies up sometimes and laughs often.

Why an Imaginary Family?

Because they tell the story better than any long speech: calm ends of day, games that get passed down, a living-room table used more often for dice games than for remote controls. You'll meet the Andersens on our blog, in our collections and through the seasons — as a common thread, never as an argument from authority. None of them will ever tell you a toy is good: they just play with it.

And Behind the Andersens?

A very real person: Thomas, founder of TS Coccoon — the real Thomas, the one who lent his first name to the illustrated dad. TS Coccoon is an independent French shop, and every product in the catalogue is chosen according to three simple criteria: material quality (wood that lasts, water-based paints), the meaning of play (what a child really develops, without miracle promises) and safety (recommended ages and warnings taken seriously, documentation required from our suppliers).

Our Mission

Few products, but chosen ones. Honest product pages that also tell you who a game is not for. A blog that helps you choose by age and moment, not by trend. And one quiet conviction: a cozy home isn't bought by filling a cart — it's built with a few beautiful objects and a lot of shared time. We're here for the beautiful objects; the shared time is yours.

A question, a doubt about a game for your child? Write to us — we'll answer honestly, even if the answer is "not that one".
